Eric has a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee and an MBA in International Business from UNC Charlotte . He spent six years working for Fortune 500 companies in the metals, food, plastics and consumer packaged goods industries. He launched Checkmate Marketing Group LLC in 2010. Prior to Checkmate, Eric also owned and operated another internet marketing firm for several years. He has developed and implemented marketing and branding campaigns in many industries. Some of these include: non-profits, manufacturing, audio/video, real estate, interior decorating, wholesaling, restaurants, ecommerce, digital products & services, musicians, home-based businesses, makeup & cosmetics, marketing & advertising, renewable energy, pet-related products & services, health & fitness, precious metals, retailers and others.
Chris has both a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Architecture degree from UNC Charlotte. He is also a LEED accredited professional. Prior to joining Checkmate, Chris worked as a freelancer, as an employee at an architectural firm and as a design consultant with the Cherokee Nation. He has professional experience in graphic design, architectural design, traditional website design and mobile website design. He is adept with Dreamweaver, the Adobe Creative Suite and other professional-grade design tools.
